BOER WAR BRITISH SHRAPNEL SHELL - BOTTOM PART -- A RARE FIND IN SOUTH AFRICA

A Rare find from the Boer war era. Its Either from the 12 or 15 ponder I am not 100% sure but I will say the 15 ponder Salvaged from the western side of Bloemfontein on what was then the old wagon road approaching from Kimberley. The story that I was told say that it was used by the British guard post near Bloemfontein that was responsible for protecting the road that approach from Kimberley.
