From Great Britain, a  Medal to Commemorate the Visit by Joseph Chamberlain, the British Colonial Secretary, to South Africa in 1903. The purpose of the visit was to foster unity after the Boer War. Note: The silver plate is thick and this medal is often mistaken for solid silver in examples with little wear.
