ASSISTANT RESIDENT ENGINEER IN SOUTH AFRICA

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED We have a position in Wolseley, Western Cape for an Assistant Resident Engineer. Below is the job spec: · B Tech in civil engineering. · Registration as a Professional Technologist with ECSA or any other recognised body will be an added advantage. · Minimum 5 years’ experience relevant experience including site supervision and materials matters on large road projects. · Experience of reseal and pavement repair work is essential. · Experience on WCG and SANRAL projects will be an advantage. · Computer literacy is essential. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · Monitor works during construction on site. · Visual Inspection and assessment of completed work. · Assist with the measuring, calculation and verification of construction materials quantities on site. · Monitor compliance and acceptance of control requirements.
