ADORABLE VINTAGE ORMEX STERLING SILVER FIGURAL PERFUME/ IN JOHANNESBURG

This vintage perfume or snuff bottle brooch was made by Ormex in Mexico circa late 1940s. The rim of the bottle is stamped "Ormex Sterling Mexico" and the dauber/dipper is stamped with the eagle and 21. The green stone top tests in the garnet to tourmaline range with a Presidium Gem tester, and given the color, I would say it is tourmaline. The pin back has a problem, but does still work. The tiny center portion that forms a rolling/locking c-clasp has slipped out. The brooch does stay fastened with just the plain c-clasp, but I am including the safety piece in case you want to repair it. The piece measures 3.2cm tall and is in good vintage condition, as shown.
