I have 8 of these sets which have slight defects on the bracelet. One or two links has smudges from the bonding process. It is not at all noticeable when worn, only under inspection. However, due to this defect, these sets are being sold at a discounted price of R440. I also have 4 sets which show no defects at all and they are being sold for R480. Gold filled jewellery is when genuine gold is bonded to another metal, usually copper, under extreme heat and pressure to make it more tarnish resistant. It is said to be far superior to plated jewellery. In addition, it contains no nickel so is suitable for sensitive skins. To care for your jewellery you should avoid wearing it while doing heavy excersise, bathing, swimming and you should remove it when you sleep. See photo with care instructions.
