22MM THICK WALL TUBE BENDER IN SOUTH AFRICA

22mm Thick Wall Tube Bender This is a homemade tube Bender for thick wall Tubing. I needed bend 22mm tube for a project of mine. The cost of tube benders on the market that would bend tick wall tubing without flatting the bend I found to be ridiculous so made my own. The design is from the Chopper Build web site with a few mods. This design can bend thick wall tubing up to 48mm diameter. In all after laser cutting and the 22mm die it ended up saving me about R9, 000. It’s not perfect and if I made another one I would add a pedestal to mount the bender on and a few other modifications in the design.
