2008 SILVER MEDAL FROM KRUGERRAND LAUNCH SET: 110TH IN SOUTH AFRICA

A Scarce Silver Medal from the 2008 Krugerrand Launch Set. Commemorates the 110th Anniversary of the Kruger National Park. Struck at the South African Mint. The obverse is after a design by  Coert L. Steynberg made for an earlier medal for the 50th anniversary of the Park. It depicts the  statue of Paul Kruger at the Park. The statue was also made by Coert L. Steynberg.
