1902 EEN POND GOUVERNEMENTS NOOT - TE VELDE PMG AU 50 IN SOUTH AFRICA
The Te Velde notes are not as famous as their Gold coin brothers simply because very little info is shared about these notes. These notes were printed right at the end of the Anglo Boer war at Pelgrim's Rust. History has it that parts of a machine were found in the bush and a press made. It is uncertain how many of these notes survived and how many were just left in the field as the war ended. This note is graded by PMG, sister company of NGC in America. Only 6 notes of this series were graded by them. Only 2 notes have graded higher! This is a piece of HISTORY...... South African Banknotes Most South African Collectors collect at least 1 banknote from each Governor of the Reserve Bank.
