18K GOLD ANTIQUE POCKET WATCH (HALLMARKED AND NUMBERED) IN SOUTH AFRICA

 18K Gold Antique Pocket Watch (Hallmarked And Numbered) Circa of this pocket watch is unknown to me. Maker also unknown. It is marked 18K Gold and hallmarked with a small queens head facing left. It is also numbered either JJ 494J or 114941 (1 and J looks very much the same so hard to tell) This is not gold plated as I've taken it to a jeweller. The lighting on some of the photos looks like it gold plated and worn on some areas but this is not the case at all. Its just the angle and shade on the photos. The pocket watch is not working and the turning mechanism on top of the watch is obviously not gold as it would be to soft a metal to use for that purpose. I've no idea what the value of this could be as circa and maker is unknown but just the value of the gold could be substantial. Both covers on the watch are marked 18K. Its not possible to weigh as it would obviously be inaccurate with all the other parts of the watch combined in the weight. However with the price of gold as it is and the amount of gold used in this watch I wouldn't be surprised if the value is in the thousands. I want to add again this is NOT GOLD PLATED but solid 18K hallmarked Gold. I've tried taking photos as best possible (See attached)  I will gladly answer any questions as best possible (And for the experts out there would appreciate any feedback here)
