SYSTEMS ANALYST IN JOHANNESBURG

Looking for a Systems Analyst to administer, maintain and manage existing information systems. Responsible for documentation, business processes, IT processes, business continuity, staff training, 2nd line support, internal/external escalations and reviews of information systems under his/her portfolio. Document all business processes in relation to systems Document all IT processes in relation to systems Document and assist with Business Continuity Review Business and IT processes interfacing with the relevant departments Compile, perform and review staff training for systems Compile, perform and review IT staff training for systems Provide 2nd line support for systems Manage escalations and support levels with vendors Review and implement patches and updates Ensure data back-ups of applications are completed Bi-Annual tests of application backups Automation of tasks directly and indirectly associated with systems Change control policy and procedure for business systems Education, Experience and Knowledge: Matric Qualification 3 Years’ experience in Travel industry GDS Experience Back-office experience KNOWLEDGE Amadeus GDS (Expert) Amadeus AGM (Expert) Amadeus Communicator (Expert) Quicktrav (Intermediate) Papertrail (Intermediate) Galileo (Expert) Microsoft Office (Expert) Microsoft Windows (intermediate) VIP ESS (Basic)
