SHIFT LEADER AND CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR IN SOUTH AFRICA

Shift Leader and Control Room Operators required for busy Security Company in Montague Gardens. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly prestigious company. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential, together with strong customer service skills. Experience of working in a busy control room environment, to include radio and CCTV operation and monitoring of computerized security systems/databases would be desirable. This position requires a highly motivated, hard working, eager type of personality that works well under pressure. Responsibilities also include the ability to constantly monitor all activities and communications even in the event of an emergency. Education and training needed: ·        Grade 12 or equivalent and PSIRA Grade B &C registration. ·        Familiarity and past experience working within the operation of a CCTV and radio control room environment and basic fault diagnosis. ·        Able to perform security officer’s postings. ·        Able to perform CCTV and alarm monitoring. ·        Able to write reports electronically. ·        Able to give coherent verbal evidence. ·        Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels. ·        Able to supervise staff ·        Able to work shifts of up to 13 hours in a secure environment, including night shifts.  The control room operates 24 hours per day, 365 per year.   E-mail your CV to
