Weekend evening au pair

Hi, Are you looking for someone to babysit your children when you have evening functions or take them on outings over the weekend? I'm a 27 year old professional Au Pair with a postgraduate degree in psychology, and several years of experience working with kids of all ages. I charge R100 per hour. 1.  Au Pair Required in Sandton Area:                             Sandton Children:                       Girl 0-6 months Hours of Work:            Monday to Friday 08hh00 Travel:                           Own car and drivers license required General:                       Client is looking for an experienced au pair who truly                                       loves to spend time with children and can take care of their 3                                       month old daughter while the parents are both at work. A slightly elderly person would be preferable. It is particularly important to us that the babysitter spends time with the baby teaching her new skills etc, takes her out and entertains her when she is awake. They would need somebody who is flexible with the working hours, as we sometimes cannot guarantee when exactly they would be coming home (meetings, traffic). Duties:                          Client is looking for a babysitter to help them daily from 8am                                      until 6pm during the week to take care of their 3 month old                                      daughter. The person must have her own transport. Specific tasks include: - Feed baby at specified times during the day (currently: pm and pm) - Give baby her medicines - Change nappies before every feed and do other cares - Take baby out for a walk in the neighborhood every day - Play with baby when awake and teach skills etc as discussed with the parents - Once baby is older than 6 months help prepare foods for baby - Wash, dry and put away baby’s cloths as needed - Change bed’s sheets as needed - Ensure baby’s nursery is clean and tidy at all times (store toys by the end of the day etc, take out trash, dust and vacuum as needed) - Watch baby at all times when taking naps - Help babysit occasionally for a few hours at the weekend or in the evening as needed Pay:                              R-R per month

Area:  Sandhurst Hours of Work:   Monday – Thursday 2pm to 6pm, Friday 2pm to 4pm (+- 18 hours a week) General:   -        Fetching the kids from school -        Taking them to extra-murals -        Doing their homework with them -        Helping them to care for their pets (reminding/supervising them to feed, water and clean cages – Rabbits and a bearded dragon fyi) -        Keeping an eye on their clothes/school uniforms/rooms, and letting mom know/helping out when issues arise i.e. helping them clean their rooms, telling parents when they need new clothes esp school uniforms, and occasionally getting it ie from the school shop. -        Doing outings with kids during the holidays (mom usually makes the time flexible during the holidays ie au pair can structure their time as they see fit and depending on what they want to do that day). -        Baby sitting on occasion in the evening – usually around once/max twice a week from 6 to 10 (occasionally later if parents have a big work function, in which case there is a guest bedroom they can sleep over in), and very seldom on the weekends. - if parents are travelling (occasional) the aupair will need to support grandparents, who move into the house, this usually doesn’t mean much beyond the detail below, but au pair just need to be supportive as they are getting on a bit. - family travels quite a bit with the children during their holidays, au pair will be paid normally during this time, but family would appreciate it if they can try and use their leave during this time (usually major holidays ie Christmas, Easter, mid-term break etc, so it is usually not a problem - normally discuss and agree this at the beginning of the year, so there is lots of time to make plans).  - On occasion family would also like the aupair to check up on their house in their absence and occasionally stock the fridge up a bit before their return (with a spending budget of course). Rate of Pay:  Negotiable. Around R70 per hour plus fuel and R200 airtime and R spending allowance. Start Date:  1 January , however family would like au pair to start with babysitting this year if possible.
