Star Wars Battlefront II (PS2) Platform: PlayStation2 Condition: New Other versions of this game available from us: Platform: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition copies available Product Description Star Wars Battlefront II improves upon the original game's single-player experience with open-ended, mission-based objectives inspired from all six Star Wars films. The compelling storyline spans more than 12 new locations, many from Episode III, including volcanic Mustafar and the space battle above Coruscant. All-new classic movie moments complete the Star Wars Battlefront II experience, as players battle within the interior of the Death Star and visit Princess Leia's blockade runner, the Tantive IV, as seen at the beginning of Episode IV A New Hope. In addition, at certain key moments within the battles, players can feel the Force as a Jedi. For the first time ever, Star Wars Battlefront II players can engage in space combat and, during the same battle, board enemy ships to attack from within. Starting on foot inside a capital ship, players can enter the spacecraft of their choice and travel into space to dogfight with the rival faction. From there, they can dock within the enemy's capital ship, overtake the ship's command posts, man its turrets to disable its shields and destroy it from within! Or, they can simply stay inside their own capital ship and defend it from attacks and enemy fire. The choice is theirs. The stellar online play that marked the original Star Wars Battlefront returns even bigger and better for Star Wars Battlefront II. Players can locate their buddies and track their stats as they battle alongside more players than ever (up to 24 on PS2, 32 on Xbox, 64 on Windows). Review With the latest movie almost making up for the quality of the first two films it looks like Star Wars has won back the hearts and minds of fans everywhere and Battlefront II aims to be the perfect celebration of that. Like the original its a sort of Star Wars version of PC hit Battlefield 1942, where two armies face off against each other, either off or online, jumping in and out of various vehicles as they find them. Of course in Battlefield 1942 "various vehicles" meant jeeps and tanks, in Battlefront II it means X-wings, TIE Fighters, AT-ATs and, for the first time, Episode III vehicles like the BARC speeder, Jedi Starfighter II and V-wing. The biggest change to the game, apart from the new vehicles, is space battles with several of the levels taking part aboard giant space cruisers which you can exit in starfighters, have a dogfight in deep space around and then pilot back to for a bit more on foot combat. Levels include the Blockade Runner from the beginning of A New Hope, the space battle above Coruscant and Utapau and Mustafa from Episode III. Another long awaited addition is playable Jedi, although you can only be one for a short time so as to not unbalance the gameplay. Although the emphasis is on online play the single player mode has been beefed up with better artificial intelligence and a proper story linking all the missions. "Star Wars fans, like this, they will", as Yoda would say (if he was real and wrote game previews instead of being a Jedi Master). -- Harrison Dent This preview is based on an incomplete version of the game; features or problems mentioned above may not appear in the finished game.

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels (Wii) Platform: Nintendo Wii Condition: New Other versions of this game available from us: Platform: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition copies available Product Information Fight the most memorable duels from The Clone Wars feature film and TV series. Wield your Wii Remote like a lightsaber and experience first-hand the unique weapon of the Jedi Knights with intuitive controls, so no matter what your gaming experience you can become a lightsaber master. Play with your friends as your favorite Clone Wars hero or villain - from familiar characters like Anakin Skywalker and General Grievous to new faces like Ahsoka Tano and Asajj Ventress - each with a unique fighting style and set of skills. Exploit your interactive surroundings to defeat your opponent: slice down pillars and Force throw them against your foe. Duel your way through significant Clone Wars locations, such as Tatooine and Teth Product Description Great Games and Accessories for the Nintendo Wii from Gamesbuyer. Review Its the game fans have been demanding ever since the Wii was first announced: The worlds first fully-fledged lightsaber game. Based on the new computer generated Clone Wars movie, Clone Wars - Lightsaber Duels allows you to control ten of the most powerful lightsaber-wielding Star Wars characters--from Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu to the evil Count Dooku and General Grievous. The game is all about one-on-one battles, as you wield the Wii remote like a real lightsaber while using the Nunchuck to move your character around. Whichever direction you swing the remote, your moves are replicated on screen, but you can also block, parry, and dodge. The action is highly accessible. Naturally you can use the Force too--from lifting up items and throwing them at your foe to using Force lighting if youre a bad guy. This is definitely the game Star Wars fans are looking for. Key Features Rogues gallery: Play as ten different Jedi, from the infamous Anakin Skwywalker to new characters such as the apprentice Ahsoka Tano and the evil Dark Jedi Asajj Ventress. Classic battles: Set between Episodes II and III, while Anakin is still a good guy, the game features famous fights from both the new CGI movie and the live action films. Art attack: The stunning graphics look just like the Clone Wars film, with a stylised look for all the characters and the same voiceover actors providing the voices. Force yourself: Use super powered Force attacks to get the upper hand, or levitate and use the objects around you to put your opponent off guard. Collateral damage: Its not just your enemies you can damage, as platforms break apart while you fight, giant stone columns are sliced in half, and spaceships crash around you. About the Developer: Krome Studios One of the biggest developers in Australia, Krome Studios earliest successes included Ty the Tasmanian Tiger games for PS2, Xbox, and GameCube. Later games from Krome include licensed properties, such as Viva Pi¿¿ata: Party Animals and Hellboy: The Science Of Evil.

Star Wars: Rogue Leader - Rogue Squadron II (GameCube) (U) Platform: GameCube Condition: Pre-Owned/Used in Very Good Condition This Title Also Available As: New: Brand New and Sealed games available Please get in touch for information on these options. Pre-owned games supplied with applicable serial keys. However - please note: Any single use keys or activation codes may have already been used/redeemed. Product Information Based on the original 1977 movie Stunning recreation of the climactic scene Detailed background graphics Play as Luke, with R2D2 riding shotgun 11 missions over ice planet Hoth, the Death Star, and more Product Description Star Wars Rogue Leader Rogue Squadron II Includes Game Disc - Box - Instructions Nintendo Gamecube & Original Wii (Not Mini) UK/PAL Review Rogue Leader has some of the best graphics ever seen on a home console and it's proper, old-fashioned, Star Wars --if that doesn't raise at least an eyebrow of your interest then there's probably not much in the world of video games that will. Thankfully, the jaw-dropping graphics are matched up to a very playable shoot 'em-up that works as a slightly more in-depth version of the PS2's Starfighter, except without any of that Episode I nonsense; instead it recreates everything from the Death Star trench run to the Battle of Hoth. The game is actually a sequel to Rogue Squadron on the N64--an excellent game that many only remember from the rather lacklustre PC version. It's structurally very similar to the original, with a dozen or so levels and a Star Destroyer full of secret levels and ships. There are a few new ideas, such as controllable wingman and ground troops, and some of the levels are set in deep space instead of just planetside, but at its heart this is still Rogue Squadron Deluxe. What elevates the game to an object of worship is the graphics--they really do look almost identical to the movies, with several scenes being copied exactly, and move with a fluidity and grace you wouldn't have thought possible from a ᅡᆪ150 console. The only flaw is that the missions are needlessly short, but there's plenty of replayability, and by gosh there's those graphics...-- David Jenkins
