Rega Planar 3 Audiophile Turntable Record Player for sale. I am offering this great British-made belt-drive turntable for sale. The table has been fully cleaned, serviced, adjusted and a brand-new Audio Technica cartridge and stylus fitted. This fully manual audiophile vinyl player is in great cosmetic shape and it works 100% - the brand new imported silicon drive belt ensures that the speed is dead-on. The smoked lid fits the black table perfectly, and lid and hinges are in excellent condition. This table has a heavy, solid glass platter and a great arm – even though the first generation, the R200 arm is consider by many to be the more “musical” of the Rega arms. The Audio Technica cartridge with new stylus sounds exceptionally good, but don't take my word for it - bring your favourite LP record, and come and give it a listen! This table is selling at a big discount because the arm’s anti-skate belt was broken, so a repair has been made to fix the anti-skate at 1.5g (this is reversible). From the Rega User Manual: “ ANTI-SKATING (BIAS) ADJUSTMENT - Set the bias adjustment knob to the same number as the tracking force. This is a great product,it allows yourself to be part of the family pictures taken without having to have someone else take the photo. It's a radio transmitter so you don't need to point it at the camera, you can use it more covertly, like behind your back. Both the remote button and the receiver use AAA batteries. To save the batteries, both units have an off and on switch with indicator lights to let you know they are off or on. The button unit is small and has a place to attach a cord so one can attach it your wrist. not having to hold the button unit very helpful. You can use it with other camera brands by purchasing a different cable. If I change camera brands I will obtain a different cable for that camera.
