This Dreadnought is Made to Perform - and Record With its solid Sitka spruce top and solid sapele back and sides, the Martin DRSGT dreadnought gives you bright, clear treble, warm midrange, and excellent projection. This guitar's punchy lows are similar to the revered D18, making it a superb choice for miked recording, even in a thick track. But you also have the option of plug-and-play connectivity with your Mac or PC (and great-sounding onstage amplification), courtesy of Sonitone USB electronics. A hardshell case is included. The Martin DRSGT is a stunning guitar, and an incredible value. Martin DRSGT Acoustic-electric Guitar at a Glance: There's no substitute for top-quality tonewoods True Martin craftsmanship in a roadworthy instrument Great-sounding electronics with USB connectivity There's no substitute for top-quality tonewoods The guitarists here at Marshall Music know that there's no substitute for top-quality tonewoods. That's a major reason the Martin DRSGT is such a wonderful value - it uses solid tonewoods that typically aren't found on guitars in this price range. The top is solid Sitka spruce, a choice wood for organic, well-balanced tones. Back and sides are made from solid sapele, which is similar to mahogany in terms of richness and depth. It's a recipe for vibrant tone that will age gracefully as the years go by. True Martin craftsmanship in a roadworthy instrument A member of Martin's Road series, the DRSGT delivers outstanding tone and playability, and the classic good looks of Martin's venerable 18 Series. The top is braced with solid Sitka spruce using Martin's A-Frame X-1 pattern for maximum resonance and projection. The DRSGT's smooth-playing, modified low oval neck is crafted from solid sipo, and the belly bridge and fingerboard are made of Black Richlite, an ultra-stable (and sustainable) material with a similar look, feel, and sound to ebony. Traditional Martin craftsmanship makes the DRSGT an excellent value - it even includes a hardshell case to protect your investment. Great-sounding electronics with USB connectivity The DRSGT is equipped with the Fishman Sonitone USB pickup system, which gives you great-sounding output, onstage and in the studio. The Sonitone USB system puts volume and tone controls directly in the soundhole for easy access, and the USB output gives you plug-and-play connectivity with your Mac or PC, for instant recording in your DAW of choice. An American Classic! Since , the Martin D-28 has remained the standard by which all other steel-strings are judged. Solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, solid spruce top, and Dreadnought size produce an incredibly loud, full, rich, punchy tone perfect for most musical styles. Used for years by all the top players, the D-28 is rightfully a living legend in acoustic guitars. Typically the action is set higher on a D-28 than on a D or 45 owing to the instrument's bluegrass roots where the instrument performs with mandolins, banjos and Dobros which are loud. A heavier gauge string and tad higher action makes the guitar louder. Well-played D28's are often referred to as "cannons". The D28 is an American classic. Cole Clark Fat Lady 1 CCFL1AC-BM The Fat Lady CCFL1AC-BM is, if anything, a study in stylish sustainability. While Cole Clark acoustics are still built out of solid woods, they make use of an entire crop of native, fast growing and abundant Australian woods such as Bunya pine and Queensland maple. The Bunya soundboard is perhaps the most striking feature on this acoustic; its varied, colorful grain¿alternating between tight, light stripes and wide, deep browns¿gives this guitar a striking and immediately recognisable persona. The dreadnought body style and bracing give the sound depth and body; the Queensland maple body and neck provide shimmering highs; the Bunya top gives this guitar just the right amount of warmth (almost akin to a cedar-topped acoustic, without the mushiness at higher volumes or intensities). Perhaps even more impressive is the guitar¿s responsiveness; despite its size, this Fat Lady is nimble, dynamic and brilliantly expressive at all points. Specifications: All solid timber cutaway dreadnought with internally carved top and back Cole Clark 2 way pickup system Finish: Nitrocellulose (natural satin) Neck: Queensland Maple Top: Solid Bunya Back and sides: Queensland Maple Inlaid timber rosette. Cole Clark Fat Lady 1 The Fat Lady CCFL1AC-BB is, if anything, a study in stylish sustainability. Specifications: All solid timber full body dreadnought with internally carved top and back and 2 way pickup. Finish: Nitrocellulose (natural satin) Neck: Queensland Maple Top: Solid Bunya Back and sides: Tasmanian Blackwood Inlaid timber rosette. Bridge/Fretboard: Indian Rosewood Inlays: Dot Machine Heads: Grover Nut/Saddle: Graph Tech Tusq Strings: Phosphor Bronze 12-53 Nut Width: 44mm/1.73¿
