The Magdeburg Right was effective in Kyiv till December 23, 1834.On the coin obverse there is a depiction of the small National Emblem of Ukraine in the ornament created on the motives of the designs of official seals of Kyiv city council of the 17th century.On the coin reverse there is a depiction of the monument to the Magdeburg Right in the city of Kyiv by the architect A.Melensky (1802-1808).
