Kelpie home

I have 4 kelpie pups. Mom and dad working dogs.8 weeks old and ready for their new home. 3 females and one male. Very loyal dogs that gets along with all other animals,lovely companions and fantastic with kids.

Helderberg Animal Rescue Team (HART), a registered NPO, based in Somerset West, has the following Australian Kelpie in need of rehoming. Rex is an Australian Kelpie, 8 months old and full of energy. He needs an active family who will take him on walks and he should have the company of a human or other dogs otherwise he will get bored. A property with high walls is a must, as he is a jumper. Suitability with child and other dogs has been established but cats are uncertain. He is currently in foster care and is available after 14h00, weekdays or Saturdays and Sundays between 09h00 and 15h00, for a meet and greet. The adoption fee is R650 each not negotiable, which includes the 1st vaccination, deworming and sterilization (mandatory). All adoptions are subject to strict home inspections and if you are considering the adoption of a puppy, somebody must be home during the day to take care of their needs. Adve: Pole is a Kelpie X Border Collie, her owner sent her to me to be trained as a working sheepdog but she is not very interested in working so I told them this. Her next option was to be put to sleep so I said I would find her a home!! She is such a sweet natured girl that she deserves a chance, she is responsive and enjoys life... you can just see how happy she is from the photographs. She loves people and has a good recall and sit, well behaved around other dogs and people. She is used to living in a kennel so will need to be housetrained and I wold advise starting her injections again. She is well socialised for a farm dog and will quickly adapt to a new lifestyle.
