These hamsters are very friendly and caring hamsters. They just produced a litter and although it is know that males need be removed. It's been a week and that family has been successfully been kept in one cage. My mom doesn't like animals so they need a good home. Will give all food, shavings and cage accessories.

I make my own from clear plastic storage bins and wire mesh- much cheaper than the cruel, small, expensive cages you may find in petshops. One can also use large fish tanks as hamster cages. Syrian Hamsters can live up to 2-3 years. They are more friendly and easier to tame than dwarf hamsters. A water bottle and (silent) solid wheel are essential. A lot of hamster items can be made- see YouTube Erins Animals DIY section using ice-cream sticks and non- toxic wood glue. Please feel free to contact me for any advice on hamsters. We have beautiful 8 week old hoglets. We raise ours in empty fish tanks. They are potty trained on cat litter. You can use woodshavings or carpet to lay their cage out with. Also have a little home for them to sleep in as they are burrowing animal's. The fish tanks are also ideal as they are bigger than hamster cages for the hedgies to move around in and the glass makes it easy for the whole family to keep an eye on them. There are safe and dangerous foods for hedgies. Please see the list in the pictures above. You can also feed them kitten food as a daily diet and add the list of save foods every second day. They are nocturnal animals so they sleep mostly through the day and more active during the evenings. We hand raised our hoglets so they are very tame and have beautiful personalities. No inbreeding. Please do alot of research on hedgies before you consider buying one. There are alot of you tube videos on the maintenance of these unique animals. We have pintos, salt and pepper and cinnemon available. Please contact for more information, videos and pictures.
