Pre-owned games supplied with applicable serial keys. However - please note: Any single use keys or activation codes may have already been used/redeemed. Product Information Follow-up in the Tony Hawk pro skateboarding series Ride as Tony Hawk, choose from 11 other pros, or create a skater Perform ollies, lip tricks, and combos in all-new global locations 10 massive levels, upgraded career mode, skate park editor, and more Expanded multiplayer modes Product Description Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (Platinum PS1) Review They say the third time's a charm, but what if everything was already done right the first and second time around? That's the hurdle Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 faces, as previous entries in this series are regarded by most gamers as perfect. But difficult as it is to believe, Pro Skater 3 introduces enough new features and great skate parks to make it another must-buy for PlayStation owners. The biggest addition this time around is the revert, which when combined with the manual introduced in the previous game lets players string together some amazing vert and grind combos. Once again, every ledge you see in the game is grindable, and the massive levels are packed with switches, hidden areas, and other secrets that will take months to fully explore (and exploit). Things are a little on the chunky side graphically, but that's to be expected with the PlayStation. Regardless, the animation is smooth and the frame rate stays high despite the enormous and complex environments this game lets players explore. The eclectic soundtrack--which features acts from the Ramones to Del tha Funky Homosapien--is another highlight, but it's still the Zen-like feeling you get from chaining together combo after outrageous combo that keeps you coming back for more. --T Byrl Baker

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 (GameCube) Platform: GameCube Condition: Pre-Owned/Used in Very Good Condition This Title Also Available As: New: Brand New and Sealed games available Please get in touch for information on these options. Pre-owned games supplied with applicable serial keys. However - please note: Any single use keys or activation codes may have already been used/redeemed. Product Information Expanded career mode Skich on the back of a car Skate through traffic Tons of new environments Single- and multi-player modes Product Description The world's best skateboarding game reinvents itself to give users the real-life experience of a hardened amateur skater in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. A completely new, non-linear career mode lets you choose the goals you want to accomplish: challenge pros head-to-head to beat their best tricks, take off to a competition or just skate solo to conquer a gap. Make your way through the game as an amateur and then conquer your pro's special challenge to unlock the more difficult professional world. Evolving levels change depending on the specific skater's goals and accomplishments--toggle different skate elements on and off (quarter pipes, benches, kickers) to change up lines. The newly upgraded Ultimate Skatepark editor allows user-set objectives such as high scores, hidden tapes and combo completion. You can create a dream park and give it to a friend to session. Skate as Tony Hawk or one of 12 other top pros. Improved skater physics and animations now allow skating on moving objects such as cars, trucks or cranes. New improvements also include more realistic balancing, bails and board dynamics. Review Just in case you didn't know, the Tony Hawk's series is the best skateboarding sim ever--and now, with the release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4, it's even more so. As many of you young hipsters may be aware, skateboarding is taken far more seriously nowadays than any child of the 70s could ever imagine, with legions of baggily trousered youths now able to refer to moves such as a bluntside or overcrook with a perfectly straight face. Indeed, the list of silly names for ridiculously dangerous stunts has been increased for this latest sequel and you now have the added ability to skitch (hold onto the back of a moving car) and grind through traffic. The big new change, though, is the career mode, which now has specific goals and milestones for all the different skaters, and really adds to the replayability. Curiously, the graphics are still not particularly good, with the same slightly muddy, undefined look to them that the developers presumably now think is all part of the fun. They have however thankfully realised that having time limits for the levels was an unnecessary limitation and, except for a few specific missions, you've now got all the time in the world to graze your knees and cave in your skull. Add in a new and improved online mode and you've got everything the discerning extreme sportsman could desire. It is, as the kids on the street apparently say, "sick". -- David Jenkins This review refers to the PS2 version of the game.

Aggressive Inline (PS2) Platform: PlayStation2 Condition: New Other versions of this game available from us: Platform: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition copies available Product Information Free t-shirt offer available while stocks last Hard-hitting inline skating action game 7 huge levels, 9 pro skaters 30 to 60 objectives per level to be discovered Skater attributes: improve your skater's abilities and reflect your own style Many multi-player modes including split-screen play Park editor Product Description Chris Edwards Aggressive Inline offers intense action via the new action button for all your skitching, pole grabbing, vaulting, and other tricks. There are nine huge levels offering tons of rails, ramps, pipes, and surprises. The game also includes 30 to 60 objectives and 10 to 15 cinematic events per level. Environments are dynamic and deeply interactive. For example, if you skate off the Atlas statue, the massive globe rolls into the street and smashes two buses that then form a half-pipe. There is an integrated Park Editor within main game levels that allows players to build terrain in order to accomplish objectives. Over-the-top tricks include hand grinds, six types of manuals, grind transitions, double leg grinds, assorted air tricks, wall taps, stalls, wall flips, and hand plants. Aggressive Inline also features insane, lightning-quick, split-screen multiplayer games. Review Consoles now have little shortage of entries in the extreme sports genre, making it all the more surprising that Aggressive Inline feels that bit different from the rest in the field, and also emerges as one of the most pleasant gaming surprises of the year. The sport at the heart of it is inline skating, which quickly provides an ample excuse for some fast skating and plenty of tricks. Backed by a friendly and genuinely helpful tutorial, the key options are all present and correct--you can play in career mode, have a free skate, take on timed runs and design your own parks too. These modes are backed by an admittedly limited but nonetheless varied selection of bountiful levels, each of which holds plenty to keep your attention. Furthermore, each delivers a subtlety different challenge and exerts differing demands on the player. That said, there's still plenty of freedom for you to master the numerous tricks and combos you need to rack up a big score. Graphically, the game is very strong, and the gameplay is genuinely accessible, offering generous rewards whether you want a quick go or an extended session. Packed with surprises, Aggressive Inline is highly detailed, yet blissfully player-centred. It's no huge evolution in the genre, yet it's still a notable step forward and, bottom line, an excellent and highly enjoyable game. Are you watching, Tony Hawk? -- Simon Brew
