"This dramatisation of the life story of South African composer Danie Bosman stars Franz Marx, creator of the popular Egoli tele-serial. Bosman is a civil servant dreaming of being a composer. When Danie meets the attractive Dorothy and a BBC correspondent on the same day, he believes his luck has changed.He marries Dorothy and they are blissfully happy at first, but poverty drives a wedge between them.
