Dragon Brewing Co’s Fiery Ginger Beer stands out in an ocean of craft beer, because it’s not a craft beer in the sense of barley and hops. It is, however, a traditionally brewed, craft beverage and it packs a serious gingery punch. Sweetness is tempered by the tang of the ginger, creating a very moreish balance. In essence, it's an alcoholic ginger beer, and we like it. A lot. Hazy, pale yellow colour No noticeable head (this is not a traditional beer) Strong ginger on the nose and the palate, good carbonation; a thirst quenching drink Rob Heyns' Tasting Notes: This is technically not a beer in the sense of something that is brewed with barley, hops, malt and water, but it is a delicious brew either way. Ginger already has a bittering quality, which makes it perfect for brewing something that is sweeter yet more refreshing than your regular lager. We selected this brew as it gives you some real variety and, like the hard cider producers, also deserves its space in the craft beer movement. Guys, we are warning you though, the ladies tend to love this style, and this beer might be finished before you get a chance to taste it if you leave it in the fridge for too long.

Probably the Craft Brewer’s “Coup de Grace” when it comes to taking on the world of lager. These beers have a bigger malt character and need a little more bitterness to balance them… Growler’s Red Ale is more malty than the Bushveld Blonde, adding layers of specialty malts which give it it’s richer colour and flavour. Robust red ale The finest ingredients of malted barley, hops and an abundance of crystal-clear water are used Caramel and roast malt character A low hop flavour with slightly firm bitterness in the finish
