The roles involves;   ·         Drawing up quotations within the required turn around period of 24 hours from the time the request is received ·         Ability to design pieces and do sketches when required ·         Maintaining an up to date knowledge of costings relating to gold, diamonds, etc. which is required to accurately perform day to day duties ·         Contacting clients on the same day the replacement order is received to arrange a consultation ·         Setting up sales consultations with clients to full-fill the insurance companies replacement orders ·         Visiting clients at their homes or offices when required to assist with quotations and / or full-filling orders. (Driver’s license and own motor vehicle is required). ·         Managing the entire process of jewellery make-ups and ensuring the entire process remains on track and on schedule ·         Immediately notifying management where difficult clients are encountered or when claims are expected to take longer than normal ·         Sourcing diamonds, watches, jewellery, etc. at competitive prices ·         Maintaining a system which will allow you to continuously monitor outstanding tasks and ensure operations run smoothly and are completed within a reasonable time frame ·         Performance of other ad hoc tasks as may be required from time to time ·         Good computer skills essential ·         Candidate will need to be taught to cost jewellery pieces and this requires some mathematical ability as well as fair excel skills
