For Nick (Jason Bateman), Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) and Dale Charlie Day), the only thing that would make the daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust. This heartwarming musical blends live action, animation, and music to highlight the story of Pete (Sean Marshall), a young boy who is befriended by a delightful dragon named Elliot (voiced by Charlie Callas). The film features charming performances from Mickey Rooney, Helen Reddy, Jim Dale, Shelley Winters, and the great Red Buttons. Pete, an orphan boy, who runs away from his adoptive family, meets up with Elliot, a very friendly dragon.
