PUBLIC TALK: FIGHT WITH INSIGHT GIVING INNER CITY KIDS A IN SOUTH AFRICA

A Public Talk called “Fight with Insight” involves the therapeutic use of the sport of boxing for abused and traumatized inner city children, to help them break the cycle of violence. By using the parallels between boxing and life in a group context, children are helped to develop anger management, impulse control, self-esteem and compassion. The programme focusses on boys, with the hope that they will become men who are responsible and take responsibility for not harming themselves and others.
