ORACLE PL/SQL DEVELOPER IN SOUTH AFRICA

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications: Strong development experience, knowledge of OOP principals and other good practice patterns Experience with rational database management systems Experience with data query tools Experience with source code control systems Knowledge of Oracle Spatial or spatial concepts a plus Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and modify Oracle packages, stored procedures, functions and triggers and functions in PL/SQL which will be used by their systems applications. Create database tables, indexes, views, triggers and other objects in the development environment Participate in all phases of the Software Development process including design, development, testing deployment and maintenance. Maximize performance by analysing the execution plan and applying optimizers as needed. Resolve problems that arise with existing production applications to ensure the efficient and proper functioning of application components
