MILLWRIGHT REF IN SOUTH AFRICA

World renowned company looking for a millwright.   As a leader in the South African packaging industry, my client is looking for a millwright to repair electrical and mechanical portions on the lowerators, conveyors, packaging, pallet transport and shrouding equipment. To carry out job changes on packaging equipment   Requirements N3 with Millwright (red seal) qualification  KPI & Experience •          Performs routine checks on electrical and mechanical equipment •          Fault finding •          Action on Fault •          Advises Engineering Foreman of any electrical and mechanical or equipment faults requiring attention and agree scheduling •          Carries out electrical installation of motors, pipe installation and equipment, cables switchgear etc. as required •          Accepts additional responsibilities and assignment from time to time as required by Engineering Foreman •          3-5 years exp: •          Experience working with high speed packaging equipment will be beneficial. •          Understanding of automation •          Siemens S5 and S7 PLC knowledge. •          A Good understanding of Variable Speed Drive set-up and operation. •          Maintenance on chain driven systems. •          Maintenance on SEW gear units •          Stainless steel and modular belting.   If you meet our requirements, please forward your CV via email ndc @ mweb.co.za or fax to .
