MILLWRIGHT IN SOUTH AFRICA

My client, an established engineering and manufacturing concern located in Bellville, is seeking to employ the above person to focus on machining in their workshop and to assist with breakdowns and preventative maintenance in the plant.   Requirements: ·         Qualified Millwright - Trade Test Certificate ·         Grade 12 Plus N2 (or)  N3 ·         Sound electrician knowledge in manufacturing plant ·         Problem solving/fault finding ·         Maintenance and control over electrical systems in plant ·         Preventative Maintenance Routines ·         Welding, Milling, Turning ·         3 – 5 years’ experience as Millwright in a technical steel and manufacturing environment ·         Previous work experience in manufacturing environment will be an advantage ·         Own transport & able to work overtime, ·         Organized ·         Healthy and fit -  working environment requires physical abilities & Noisy environment ·         Accurate ·         Able to work standby / Callouts – Over Weekends (alternatively & rotational)    Knowledge (Electrical) ·         Panels and DB Boards ·         Automated machines ·         PLC’s ·         Drives and/or invertors ·         Generator Electrical Systems ·         Control Systems ·         All plant electrical work ·         Mains and/or Reticulation   Knowledge (Mechanical) ·                     Pneumatics, Hydraulics ·                     Bearing and Shaft Changing ·                     Gearboxes ·                     Water Systems & Cooling towers ·                     Lubrication ·                     Press Machines – (Advantage)   Please send your CV, together with a copy of your trade test and highest qualification to:
