MARKETING CO ORDINATOR IN SOUTH AFRICA
The Marketing Coordinator, reporting to the Marketing Manager will coordinate our marketing activities and maintain relationships with our suppliers. You will also be required to co-ordinate events from start to finish ie co-ordination and hiring of caterers, AV companies, liaising with speakers, and generally helping to make sure the event runs smoothly and efficiently on the day. Duties include: • Assisting team members with day to day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested. • Organising the sourcing and final production of branded items such as stationery, merchandise, flyers, brochures and all exhibition-related material and keeping stock of inventory. • Supporting the in-house marketing and design team by coordinating and collating content • Set up and coordinate events from planning phase to cleanup. • Required Skills: • Strong communication skills a must - both written and oral. • Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail. • Extremely well organised and self-motivated. • Confident, outgoing and helpful personality. • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines. • Advantageous: • 1yr experience in a marketing, or promotional events environment. • Driver’s License and car • Desire to grow
