Our client in the development and construction industry is looking for a Group Buyer to join their dynamic team. Job description Identifying suitable suppliers. Communicating and liaising with suppliers. Process all relevant supplier applications and administration. Price negotiation with suppliers. Communicate with building and development sites regarding operational stock requirements. Ordering of stock required and follow up with suppliers. Process all relevant in-house paperwork and administration. Collaborate on multiple projects Requirements Qualification in Business, Commerce or Purchasing At least 1-2 years procurement experience in the construction and development sector. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Critical (Excel, Word and Outlook) Other Requirements Knowledge of Pastel Accounting Software Accuracy Numerical Aptitude Good work ethics Excellent communication skills Strong negotiation skills Remuneration: Will be discussed at interview stage.
