FUNCTIONAL ANALYST MOBILE SOLUTION FOR BUILDING INSPECTORS IN SOUTH AFRICA

Mandatory Requirements Verifiable, practical experience in the design and successful implementation of business solutions, preferably in the area of activity and service management. At least three years of experience in a functional role in the design and build of solutions on SAP Business Suite. Responsibilities To assist in the requirement definition and solution design (blueprint phase) of an activity and (possibly) service management application for Building Inspectors. This application is to be made available on mobile devices with the objective of improving the efficiency and quality of the site inspection work carried out by the building inspectors in their day-to-day operations. You will work under the direction of a lead analyst who will provide the necessary guidance and direction for the solution design. Brief overview of job functions ·         The successful candidate will work under the direction of the lead analyst and assist in all tasks necessary to ensure a successful outcome as determined by the lead analyst, including but not limited to those described below. ·         Document the as-is business processes, should this prove necessary. ·         Assist in the engagement with business to identify and document a comprehensive set of business requirements that the solution must satisfy. ·         Document the translation of business requirements into a more detailed set of requirements (including functional, non-functional, stakeholder and etcetera requirements). ·         Documentation of the to-be business processes. ·         Mapping of the to-be solution onto the SAP platforms that will support the solution. ·         Execution of a gap analysis and the identification and high level specification of the various custom-build components required for the solution to meet the requirements. ·         Documentation of a solution blueprint or design document that consolidates the above information. Knowledge and Skills ·         Experience as a functional analyst in the implementing of business solutions in the SAP environment. ·         Good communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders. ·         Familiarity with SAP Case Management would be a definite advantage. Qualifications or  Experience ·         A relevant graduate degree in Information Systems would be advantageous. ·         Evidence of qualifications in SAP Business Suite solutions would be advantageous. ·         Experience in the implementation of solutions on the SAP Business Suite platforms is essential. ·         Experience in analysing requirements and designing appropriate solutions is essential.
