The ring mandrel is hardened steel, perfect for hammering on, and has U.S. sizes 1-15 marked on it. The ring mandrel is 8.75￢ﾀﾝ (22.2 cm) long plus the tang and is secured into the system with a thumb screw. The hardwood bench pin measures 6 x 2 x 5￢ﾀﾝ (15.3 x 5 x 12.7 cm) and is cut with a V-slot. ￂﾠThe unit is held securely when the whole device is clamped to a table with the screw mechanism.
