Servicing It is in an industry standard to ensure that all airconditioning units are serviced annually. SATCOMM offers Major Servicing, Minor Servicing and Scheduled Maintenance Contracts. A Major Service includes the following: Inspecting the aircon unit for any cosmetic damage Ensuring the aircon unit is operational before servicing (if not, we will carry out an assessment during the service and then quote accordingly for necessary repairs once complete) Cleaning the filters and the use of an anti-bacterial spray Thorough cleaning of the barrel fan Cleaning of the indoor and outdoor coils Ensuring there is not sludge in the drip tray, clean out of drain and drip tray We inspect all electrical connections to ensure proper contact Check and record Gas Pressures Noise Level Inspection We check all operating temperatures: Room temperature and supply air temperatures Once a Major Service is complete we will send you a Service Feedback Report. This Report is used for us to build a history on each unit to ensure maximum efficiency and for your records.
