VACANCY: JUNIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPER/RESEARCHER – JHB – IN SOUTH AFRICA

M ajor Corporate Clothing Company is looking for a Junior Business Developer/Researcher to join their sales department. REQUIREMENTS: · Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role. · Matric + Tertiary qualification in clothing / marketing. · Clothing background (Fashion Design, garment construction) preferred. · Organised individual with experience in project management. · Proven sales experience. · Excellent communication skills, specifically English. · Must have own vehicle, driver’s license and mobile phone. · Prepared to travel, locally within South Africa or cross-border. · Computer literate, particularly on Excel and Word · Well presented, and eloquent. · Confident when it comes to pitching and being client facing. RESPONSIBILITIES (Amongst others): · Researching and tracking of potential clients · Cold calling, business development · Grow client base and revenue · Achieve set targets and goals · Set up appointments for the Sales Director and Sales Manager to present to the client, with the view to you then being point of contact and attending/leading meetings with client. · Filing and reporting.
