It was founded at the beginning of 20th century according to the design project of the architect M.Krasnov. In Livadia in February 1945 there was held the Yalta conference of the heads of states-allies in anti-Hitler coalition.On the coin obverse there is depicted a fragment of the gate in the Italian courtyard and a lion statue.
