TRAIL CENTRE: SALES & ADMIN 20 Dec to 4 Jan (excl 25 Dec & 1 Jan) Do you want to work in a unique outdoor shop that caters for trail users. The Trail Centre & are situated close to Stellenbosch – you need to live in the area and have your own transport. (Welgevonden area will be perfect!) Open 7 days a week, crew can choose which days in a month they are available, so that they don't work every weekend day. Public holidays we need part-time staff as well. Some week days crew could help with preparation for events if they are available. Basic duties include: • Answering of telephones • Opening & closing of shop • Dealing with public – reception desk • Selling hiking / biking permits & bike hire • Sales of snacks, drinks & general merchandise • Stocking of shop and placing of orders & reconciling of purchases • Daily point of sale balancing • Capturing of data – Excel skills required • Assisting with events administration when needed (as the preparation for events vary, so will the duties) The following attributes are non-negotiable: o Own vehicle & Driver’s License o Computer literate (proficient in MS Office) o A strong communicator (also on email).
