TECHNICIAN (IT) IN SOUTH AFRICA
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will be based in Cape Town and will be responsible for the following: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Desktop repairs – Hardware troubleshooting & repairs to desktop systems. • Component testing & repair / replacement. • Notebook/Mobile/Tablet phone repairs. • Peripheral testing for vendor escalation i.e. printers / digital cameras / CCTV • Software recovery & repair – all OS’s. • Ability to troubleshoot communications devices i.e. network LAN’s / WAN’s. • Maintaining job card updates & customer feedback on repairs. • Telephonic support. REQUIREMENTS • Be able to work in a pressured environment. • Be able to complete jobs quickly & efficiently. • Excellent communication skills required. • Be willing to go the extra mile & complete tasks quickly. • Excellent technical skills required. • Be able to diffuse delicate situations in a professional manner • A+ with 3 Years Technical experience The Company is under no obligation to fill this position and should you not have had any feedback within 2 weeks, you may consider your application unsuccessful
