CANDIDATE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: · Grade 12 or equivalent · Food and Beverage Certificate/ Hotel school Diploma Work experience: · Previous experience in the same or similar position · Familiar with all duties and duties and procedures in the Food & Beverage Department · Micros experience is essential Other: · Highly focused on personalised service · Strong knowledge on menus, restaurants and tourism services · Reliable, responsible and dependable to fulfil obligations · Attention to detail · Willingness to lead, take charge and offer direction · Ability to multitask · Have 100% product knowledge · Show initiative by taking control of task · Excellent communication skills · Friendly and service orientated Tasks (included but not limited to:) · Ensure service levels are maintained and sustained · Stock control of all beverages and ordering of beverages on daily/weekly basis · Manage day to day running of the restaurant · Target and measure sales · Monitor and ensure efficient preparation and delivery of food orders in timely fashion · Schedule staff hours and assign duties for staff · Participate in progressive discipline · Ensure personnel performance and service levels are optimised · Investigate and resolve complaints · Upsell accommodation, F&B and tourism services · Maintain facilities management · Produce management reports as required · Ensure quality and concepts are maintained
