Seeking an experienced & creative Sushi Chef for this fantastic hotel restaurant with a remarkable reputation within the industry. We seek a driven, highly motivated and service orientated candidate with a sharp eye for detail with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a sushi chef in a reputable establishment along with excellent references. To ensure a warm, friendly and engaging atmosphere within the restaurant. Requirements: - Relevant tertiary qualification & 2 years' experience in similar position & establishment - Must be able to prepare quality, consistent and well-presented food items to company standard. - Excellent knowledge of hygiene standards - Ensure all guidelines and recipes are met and adhered to - Complete all specified opening set up, closing and side duties - Prepare and stock for daily operation - Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace and equipment - Assist teammates whenever necessary - Ensure a sense of urgency with all tasks - Be aware of and report necessary maintenance to supervisor - Maintain a good working relationship with all departments - Complete all other duties as assigned - Highly organized and disciplined -
