SPECIFICATION ANALYST IN SOUTH AFRICA

SPECIFICATION ANALYST Minimum requirements: · National Technical Certificate (Technical Matric) with Draughtsmanship as a subject · 2 years’ practical drawing experience and advanced AutoCAD 2D & 3D or Adobe Illustrator · Sound understanding of technical and quality requirements · Computer literacy (MS Office at a basic operational level) and SAP · Basic knowledge of photographic development and image setting Duties: · Assessing and evaluating incoming new parts for introduction and the completion of the CEF and NSA document · Participating in the feasibility review with the affected site · Drawing in CAD, checking accuracy, obtaining approval and releasing the part artworks, necessary components, trademarks · Issuing necessary component drawing to purchasing for sourcing / site receiving for incoming inspection · Receipt, verification and approval of all new or changed artworks or components · Compiling, updating and documenting product specifications for parts and components. · Maintaining documents on Part finder system · Controlling the receipt, movement and storage of imported samples in a manner that preserves their identity and integrity on a long-term basis · Supplying site with master part / component samples for storage retention · Assisting with projects on request · Assisting in continuous improvements in the department
