Then the Sonos CONNECT (formerly Zoneplayer 90) is for you. The Sonos CONNECT links directly to any amplified audio device with a line input, such as a hifi, stereo system, desktop radio or active speaker system, and makes it part of a wireless, multi-room digital music system. Simply hook your Sonos CONNECT into your Internet router and plug it into your amplifier and you've freed your music and put it all at your control. Alternatively, connect the Sonos ZoneBridge to your router and your CONNECT can sit anywhere, wirelessly communicating with your ZoneBridge (see the accessories tab above). The Sonos CONNECT will play back all the music from your networked computer or network attached storage (NAS) device, plus 100, 000 Internet radio stations and Napster. As if that wasn't enough, Spotify is also available on Sonos, putting over 8 million tracks at your finger tips. All you need to do is create a Spotify Premium account, and you'll be able to access Spotify's huge on-line library. No more ripping CDs or waiting for music to download, simply stream from Spotify (see the video on the right). If you want music in another room that doesn't have a hifi system, just add a CONNECT:AMP (Zoneplayer ZP120) which has a built in amplifier - all you need to do is add speakers. If you have a portable CD or MP3 player, you can plug it into a local CONNECT and listen to that music on any part of your Sonos network. In addition, you can also add the WD100 Wireless iPod Dock to your Sonos system for easy streaming of your portable tunes and charging of your iPod or iPhone. Thanks to Sonos' unique wireless mesh technology, the Play:5 runs off it's own network, meaning you can play back different music in each room, or the same music perfectly synchronised in all zones, with no drop-out in connection and without draining your home broadband connection. You can control the CONNECT via a freely available app available for the iPhone/iPod Touch, iPad or Android phones and tablets (see the video on the right). Alternatively, there's also the Sonos Controller software for PC and Mac computers which comes free with every player (ideal for laptops), and the dedicated, optional CR200 wireless touchscreen controller.
