SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (RETAIL BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT) IN SOUTH AFRICA

Our blue chip client is looking for a software developer with at least 5 years professional development experience in all facets of the software development process. The incumbent must have a degree in computer science, computer engineering, information science or related technical discipline. The core responsibilities are: Design, refine and create simple solutions using JAVA, Scala, C#, C++, Python or Ruby Write elegant robust code Improve and optimize the performance of existing systems Troubleshoot and root-cause errors Write unit, integration and acceptance tests for all components Write build automation scripts Mentor developers Assist with analysis where required The successful candidate must have solid knowledge in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms Strong software-design skills. Experience in system integration, distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems.
