SERVICE MANAGER REQUIRED FOR CATERING EQUIPMENT COMPANY IN SOUTH AFRICA

DUTIES: To provide all customers with quality repairs to their equipment at the right time, in the right place and at the right price; Ensure that the Service Department runs smoothly and that all departmental objectives are met; Ensure that all equipment (both under warranty and out of warranty) are repaired timeously and effectively on the clients' sites; Ensure that all products are collected timeously from the clients' sites and repaired timeously and effectively by the relevant suppliers; Ensure that all Service-related documentation is captured, processed and authorised as per the agreed procedures, and that all costings and quotations are accurate; In the event that new equipment should fail, follow corrective action procedures Ensure that the assembly of refrigeration units is completed timeously and effectively in accordance with the agreed procedures/standards; Ensure that the retro-fitting of new equipment for the warehouse is completed timeously and effectively in accordance with the agreed procedures/standards; Conduct regular checks on work being done in the Workshop and ensure the on-going provision of high quality maintenance/repair/refurbishment/assembly work. Ensure that outsourced Technicians fulfil their functions and meet the requirements of the job Manage the Department by directing admin and workshop staff, co-ordinating activities consistent with established strategy, goals, objectives and policies. To provide a pleasant working environment with the customer and other persons associated with your duties at all times. Manage key accounts within the service department by reporting on collected data and measurement against Key Performance Area. REQUIREMENTS: An in-depth knowledge of food service equipment and the industry in general. Computer literacy- knowledge of Syspro, MS Word and Excel. Experience minimum of 3 - 5 years in the same or similar industry. High organizing skills. Working experience in the CRM environment essential and be able to implement and maintain the systems; Own vehicle LEVEL OF EDUCATION: Minimum qualification will be Matric or Grade 12 equivalent.
