SAP MM PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL CONTRACTOR/CONFIGURER: ACCOUNTS IN SOUTH AFRICA

Mandatory Requirements: · Minimum 5 years relevant MM experience, Accounts Payable focused · Minimum of 5 years in a Public Sector environment · Minimum of 1 full MM Implementation cycle · Proven in-depth knowledge of MM/AP module · Proven in-depth knowledge and application of PSRM module · Proven experience in configuration of MM/AP module · Proven experience with Integration of MM with SRM/SUS PM, PS and FI/CO modules · Experience with Business Partner and integration with Supplier Management is required – at least 3 years Brief overview of job functions and Key Accountabilities: · Is responsible for design, configuration and implementation of the SAP Materials Management (AP) module, balancing AP requirements with the overall integrated SAP solution for the company. · Provides solutions for complex business and system problems, where no precedent may exist · Provides input for the future of SAP AP and its application in the company environment · Provides knowledge transfer of SAP AP and related functionality to both SAP users and colleagues in the ERP Support Centre · Serves as system designer and builder in the integration of solutions across modules, constructing AP applications, developing new business opportunities and building relationships with clients Qualifications or Experience: · Appropriate and recognised formal IT training/experience · Minimum 5 years relevant MM/AP experience · Business / IT degree or equivalent is an advantage · Experience in a Public Sector environment is essential – at least 5 years · Experience with SRM/SUS and dealing with its integration with ECC6 · Experience with Business Partner and integration with Supplier Management is required – at least 3 years · SAP MM Certification will be an advantage Cape Town based: Candidates need not necessarily be based in Cape Town
