Mandatory Requirements A minimum 3 year qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology-related discipline A Minimum 5 years experience in a Local Government entity A Minimum 5 years experience in SAP application integration discipline Brief overview of job functions · This post is required to operate at a senior level, mostly without reference to the superior, taking accountability for operational decisions within the ambit of the organizations’ policies and procedures. Knowledge and Skills · Detailed knowledge of the SAP Basis environment and the supporting (Oracle) database technology, especially regarding aspects that affect performance and operational stability. · Detailed knowledge of the SAP development platforms and how these may best be employed in the design of robust, good quality, complex solutions covering different front-end and back-end technologies. · Thorough understanding of the SAP Case Management environment and its capabilities in providing custom solutions for unconventional business processes, an essential part of the City’s solution landscape and the principle focus of the majority of new projects. · Broad knowledge of SAP functional solutions and the essential capabilities of the ECC core components, the Customer Relationship Management environment, the Business Warehouse and Intelligence environments and SAP Folder Management. · At least 5 years of experience covering a variety of SAP solutions and roles including technical design and development, functional design and configuration, customer engagement, business analysis, project management and solution architecture. Qualifications or Experience · A minimum 3 year qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology-related discipline. · 5 years in an Information Technology environment, preferably within a SAP Cross-Function Module integration environment.
