We have operations in Mozambique, South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe and the Sales Manager deals with a base of existing and new international Clients who invest in Safaris in these 4 countries. The candidate will be responsible for handling all Administration, tracking and reporting as well as handling some client queries and resolving problems when necessary. Industry Hunting Safaris, Conservation and Tourism Type of Clients Affluent, mostly International Clients Some local Clients Sales Administrator Duties 1. Maintains promotional database by inputting and maintaining data. 2. Updates sales manager by consolidating and forwarding daily action summaries. 3. Resolves order and inventory problems by investigating data and history. 4. Resolves admin and or sales discrepancies by researching the details and discussing it. 5. Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer requests. 6. Selecting appropriate information; forwarding information; answering questions. 7. Helping to compile and check sales tracking reports. 8. Forwards documentation as per manager/client requests. 9. Maintains customer database by inputting customer profile and updates. 10. Assisting in the Preparation and distribution of monthly reports. 11. Assist in compiling information for sales presentations, formats and materials. 12. Tracks sales expenses by consolidating, analysing, and summarizing expenses. 13. Working very closely with the Marketing Manager and their Marketing team. 14. Accomplishes department and organization goals by achieving related results. Sales Assistant Skills and Qualifications Matric Certificate, Data Entry Skills, Reporting Skills, Administrative Writing Skills, Understanding the Customer, Customer Focus, Informing Others, Self-Development, High Attention to Detail, Professionalism, Microsoft Office Skills, Teamwork. A formal post school qualification will be beneficial. Reporting Line Directly to the Sales Manager Indirectly to the Heads of the Safari Company Place of Work At our Offices in Boston, Bellville Working Hours Our standard working hours are 0800 to 1600. **Because of the nature of our business, there may be Instances that information is requested after hours and or on weekends, at the office/ via mail or telephone. In addition to the this during the months of January and February your working hours will be adjusted in order to assist the team during their annual Marketing trip to the USA in line with the time zone differences. Package R 7 500 per month Cell phone: All business calls will be reimbursed. Itemised bill to be produced. Travel: No business related travelling at this stage.
