This is a Sterling Silver (925) Hinged Cuff Bangle (marked for Birmingham) in good condition. It has two very minor dings which are hardly noticeable. It is very delicately engraved over the whole of the exterior. There are small ball mounts over the entire outer edge. This style is typical of the Victorian era.         VINTAGE ENGLISH CHESTER STYLE SAPPHIIRE 9CT GOLD RING This vintage English piece is simple and understated. There are three small round-cut very dark blue sapphires set into the 9ct yellow gold band of gold that widens on the ring head section and is ever so slightly curved to sit comfortably on the finger. The design is "chester" design with star-like deep set engravings set into the gold around the sapphires. It bears the hallmarks of English gold, the jeweller signature, the assay mark of Birmingham and the date mark. The design is actually a throw-back to a particularly popular style of England's Victorian era. However - the date mark shows that it was actually created in 1989. It is a simple delicate ring although at 2,22 grams, has a bit of substance to it. The ring is a continuous band all the way round, 6 mm on top of the ring head and 2 mm at the back of the shank.
