The asking price for the timeshare at Umhlanga Sands Holiday Resort is R12 500. It is a self catering Gold Crown resort. The registration fee is R1 660 to transfer the timeshare in your name and is payable by the buyer. The timeshare is a lifetime investment and will be carried into your estate when you pass away. The registration fee is included in the asking price. There is an annual levy that must be paid every year for the timeshare. The annual levy for 2017 is R6 070. It will be the responsibility of the buyer to pay the 2017 levy. Week 45 in 2017 runs from 11 - 18 November 2017. The 2017 levy will become payable 3 months before the start of week 45. The unit sleeps 4 people. Once you have paid your levy you can request any other similar unit if you do not want to make use of the unit that you bought with the timeshare. You can either use your week yourself or rent it out at a very good return. You can also become a RCI or Sunswop member, then you can space bank the week with them in exchange for points that can be used at any of the other resorts that RCI and Sunswop have to offer. You don't have to use the points immediately. The points are valid for 3 years within which you must use the points. In this way you are not bound to go on holiday every year at the same resort. All the units have been newly refurbished. The unit is self catering with bedding, towels, crockery and cutlery provided. The units are serviced daily. The lounge, dining room area and main bedroom with queen size bed are open plan. The second bedroom has two single beds. There is one full bathroom. The unit has beautiful sea views and views of the swimming pools. The resort has easy access to the beach and the promenade. The resort offers two restaurants of which one is a Spur. The resort also offers a tennis court, swimming pool with poolside bar, heated adult pool, kiddies entertainment room, gym, salon, convenience shop and much more. There is also an entertainment programme available for children and adults during the day. The adult bar provides various entertainment activities every night for adults. Open and under cover parking is provided at the resort. Security at the resort is excellent.
