Site horses

If you have race - or endurance horses that need rest, I have space available on my farm for them to graze and rest. The farm is located 30km outside of Laingsburg (Karoo). I have 5 camps (+-500 hectares in size). There is more than enough food and Alfalfa(Lucerne) will also be provided for horses. Please note: Maximum of 15 horses, preferably older than 1 year of age and also need to be halter trained. Competent groom and rider who looks after horses. We transport horses in the Eastern Cape and even beyond. The attached photo says it all. Services is R box rental and R5.50/Km. Box levy is R50 per horse for haynet and lucern and tac if applicable. Service contract with Indemnity applies. Horses must be boxed by the requester or furrier on site. Assistance will be given where necessary.

One space coming available at yard in Constantia from October for reschooling/backing or retraining of behavioural problems. Medium sized grass paddocks- horses out all day and can be individually paddocked if necessary.   Arena on site. I use ground work, in-hand dressage, and ridden training techniques based on Equine Learning Theory and French classical dressage.  Also 'bombproofing' and preparation for hacking out safely- we have direct access to outrides without road work. Regretfully no colts or stallions. Testimonials available. Rpm includes training 5 days per week and 1-2 x lesson per week for the owner.

We have +/- 6 acres of land for lease. The land could be used for small scale farming or grazing for livestock (sheep / goats / cattle). There are 2 x outbuildings / old stables that could be used for housing approximately 6 horses or converted for other livestock. Good water supply. Separate access from main house. The 6 acres can be rented by a single person for R p/month or can be split into two parts and leased separately. We do have staff on site that could assist with managing the 'herd'.
