This beautiful handcrafted table is made from solid oak. The wood was salvaged from a much larger round table destined for the scrap heap. The table is 90cm x 90cm x 80cm and comfortably seats 4 people. The wood was cleaned and sanded to bare wood. It was stained with a light teak wood stain to bring out the colour and emphasize the grain of the wood. It has been finished to a velvety texture with three coats of a matt polyurethane varnish that is hard-wearing and stain resistant.
