We have an unfurnished medium sized room available from May 1st in our house in Newlands. Three of us live inside and one outside in a small separate entrance room. One working professional, a student, an artist and a jeweler are current tenants/housemates. The house is located right on the edge of Newlands forest, so access to the forest and mountain is immediate. The rent is R3600, which includes uncapped wifi, a once-a-week cleaner for communal spaces, and the first R100 of electricity (this amount comes off each persons rent at the start of the month for electricity, after which we all chip in as needed). There is one parking spot on site per person. We are within walking/cycling distance from UCT and an easy drive to town (7 minutes +- without traffic) There is an equipped kitchen we all share, two bathrooms, lounge with fireplace, two bathrooms and a large wild garden.
